Lately I've got on a bit of a craze restoring old bits of Kerosene fueled camping kit - mainly Pressure Stoves and Kerosene Lamps
As is usual for me - I got carried away and have bought way to many - I bought about 10 Lamps in one go - but they were a bargain, and I've got a whole bunch of stoves coming from all over the country as well.
I seem to have got lucky and I've actually got some quite rare and interesting stoves and some less rare, but great cross section of lamps.
Trouble is - I don't know how to fix them - one would think that a lot of the skills used in restoring Stationary Engines can also be used in restoring old stoves and lamps, and one would be correct, but there is a lot of brass involved, particularly with the stoves, and I'm more used to dealing with Cast Iron, so there will be a learning curve involved - anyway - enought writing.....on with the restorations.
