What ever happened to people who do things??
Back in the day it didn't really matter if you knew how to do something, you just got in and done it - learning as you went. You got some right - you got some wrong - but you just got in and done it - you learned.
Have you noticed that in a single generation we have gone from people who build tree houses, hot up cars, make cubby houses, billy carts and countless other things to people who sit and watch the idiot box, believe everything we are told, can't have a go at anything unless we have a Bright Orange Hi-Vis Vest, a piece of paper from the local college saying we are qualified to do so, and a sign off from the Occupational Health and Saftey lunatics!!
Well I say "Bollocks to that!!" Just get in and have a go - if you stuff it up - well, you've learned how not to do it - and have another go. It doesn't matter what you want to have a go at, no matter how crazy, there's always someone on the internet who's already had a go at it and documented it on the web, so just get stuck in and have a go!!
There's millions of crazy - and dangerous - things you can do at home - just have a go!!
Of course be careful! Try not to kill yourself - take all the necessary precautions - just don't wear a stupid Hi-Vis Vest"
